Alicia Jalbert

Manager of Community Partnerships, Roux Institute

Alicia Jalbert is the manager of community partnerships at the Roux Institute. Jalbert came to the Roux from K-12, previously supporting Maine districts in their use of technology to improve student learning outcomes. Although initially trained as a social studies teacher, Jalbert quickly understood the growing impact of technology on the K-12 classroom and changed trajectories to better support students. She has since led a number of education technology projects across the state to expand student access to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), including Lewiston’s computer science program. Alicia represents the Roux Institute both as an employee and a student, focused on finding ways to cultivate STEM opportunities across Maine.
