A hub for faculty and practitioners

C2C Faculty Affiliates are Northeastern University faculty and/or researchers who conduct rigorous research and apply practical methods toward finding equitable solutions to local policy problems at one or more cities and regions across the global university system.

This summer, we have a wide array of positions open on our campus for Boston resident teens ages 14-18 including opportunities to work in Administration, Marketing, Community Engagement, Student Services, Facilities, as a participant in our Bridge to Calculus program.

Our Faculty Affiliates span a variety of fields including criminal justice, economic development, healthcare, housing, STEM education, and workforce development with expertise in impact analysis, program evaluation, data visualization and mapping, qualitative methods (e.g. interviews, focus groups), quantitative methods (cost/benefit analysis, statistics), and more specialized skills pertaining to their field of study.

C2C has partnered with Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (JPAL) to offer high quality trainings that help researchers, policymakers and implementers fine tune their data analysis skills, while giving a background in economics and evidence usage.

We invite public sector and nonprofit organizations to submit projects to our City to City (C2C): Policy Equity for All initiative.

Community to Community (C2C) has partnered with the Scholars Strategy Network (SSN) to provide training for faculty seeking to form research-practice partnerships with a city agency, state department, or community-based organization. The Training Researchers to Inform Policy (TRIP) workshop is a full-day training that provides faculty with methods for policy engagement. It was formed to help researchers build relationships with policymakers and communities to turn their findings into policy changes.
